Counseling is a process that is different for each person.  It can be about figuring out why you think or behave as you do, what you want out of life, accepting yourself, or a myriad of other goals.  My job as a counselor  is to find out what is important to you, and what meaning your goals have in your life, then help you to go in the direction that you value.

I believe one of the most important issues in counseling is the Client/Counselor relationship and choosing the right counselor for you.  The following pages will tell you a bit about me and how I see counseling.  If you have any questions beyond what I have presented here, I encourage you to call.

My specialty areas include:
domestic abuse, women's (and teens) issues, and
trauma.
